Details

Cervelo's feathery R3 Frameset breaks all the rules. Their monstrous Squoval frame tubes culminate in pencil-thin seatstays and the result is a near-mythic blend of competition-shattering stiffness and cobble-dissolving compliance. In fact, the R3 has won the toughest single-day race known, Paris-Roubaix. It's a tribute to Cervelo's refined geometry and tapered carbon fork that bring brilliant, precise, agile and stable handling to the party. And this world-beater also boasts Cervelo's BBright bottom bracket and huge, Squoval chainstays so that every watt of your power becomes rocket-like speed. Cervelo's groundbreaking R3 is all about the perfect balance. Comfort, power, speed, and control are all there and the result is pure two-wheeled heaven. Grab one and build your ultimate bicycle.

The R3's massive BBright bottom bracket junction and Squoval (square/oval) tubes are optimized with the greatest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio for exceptional power transfer that propels you forward.

The R3 features Cervelo's Squoval chainstays that provide stiffness to the rear end which frees the slim seatstays to act as leaf springs in the vertical plane for the ultimate combination of responsiveness with comfort.

Additionally, Cervelo optimizes the R3's carbon with Kevlar and special carbon stiffening plies on the down, head and top tubes for the ultimate ride every time the rubber hits the road.
