Burley Nomad is awesome!!

By

About Me

Comments:

I bought the Burley Nomad about a month ago. It is a high quality product all around, rides so smooth I had to check to see if it was still attached! It holds everything I hoped. I use it for day trips to the beach and carry a grill, cooler, and other items. Highly recommended!

Comments:

Took it on a cross country ride be nice if it locks to prevent other people from going through it. Bought it in Houston Texas and the bottom is already beginning to tear has few holes after 2000 miles.

Light and easy to use cargo trailer

About Me

Comments:

I'm mostly happy with the product. It is easy to use, light and rolls well. However, I'm worried about the quality of the canvas material. We already have two wholes in the sides since the wheels have touched the sides when cycling. The canvas seems to be too thin both in sides and at the bottom. I'd like to have ticker canvas especially at the bottom. If you have some heavier, sharp goods they can easily make holes to the canvas.

The Burley Nomad! Approved by The Frod!

About Me

Comments:

16. juni 2017 14:09 I bought my first Nomad back in the early 2000s and over the years it has taken me on numerous tours around Europe. From the Atlantic coast to the Rockies, my Burley Nomad was my trusted companion. It withstood the trials and tribulations of gravel roads, dirt tracks, whatever. The Nomad never flinched! It has been packed and filled to the brim. Weight has never been an issue. The Burley Nomad simply marched on! Last year I decided to upgrade to the most recent version and I wasn't disappointed. Whilst my old friend relaxed in the garage licking her wounds, my new companion and I set out on a new adventure throughout Europe. The famous bike tourer, The Frod, ditched his cycle bags and BOB trailer and got himself a brand new Nomad and came along. He hasn't looked back since! The Burley Nomad folks, it doesn't get better than this! See enclosed bike touring video "Where Frods Dare!" and you'll see what I mean.

Great Trailer

By

from Virginia Beach

About Me

Comments:

Have owned this trailer for over a year. Have used it for grocery runs and have had no problem hauling twenty pounds of provisions home. On our recent 200-plus mile C&O trail trip, we found the trailer indestructible. We suffered five flats in five days on our bikes but the trailer came through the experience unscathed. Great product, highly recommended.

Love It!

About Me

Comments:

I mostly use it to carry things to the local airport to work on my plane or go flying. I tow it behind my recumbent Trike and don't even know it's there unless I see it in the rear view mirror. The cover is great also. The two things that I have needed to change are the flag holder and the interior base. The flag base just sticks into a slot in the fabric. The flag is tall and with any cross wind at all it can bend way over into the opposing bike lane and could also whack pedestrians without you even knowing it. I just use the 1/2 length and that is fine as I have a tall flag on the Trike. The bottom of the carrier is just fabric material and I would worry about heavy items tearing a seam and falling through. I just made a cardboard cutout out of the box it arrived in and inserted it in the bottom to provide more support.
