Sidi's Giau Megas deliver a custom fit and excellent comfort and efficiency off road and on for those with wider feet. Sidi's synthetic-leather and mesh uppers offer wonderful support and feel great, while Sidi's Competition soles ensure all your power goes straight to the ground for optimum efficiency. Plus, there are triple Velcro closures for fine-tuning the fit and padded tongues with Sidi's Fit Relievers. And, there are lugged soles for all-surface traction.
Sidi's Competition soles are made of tough, reinforced nylon. They feature self-cleaning treads, and are drilled for toe spikes, too (sold separately).
In order to mount your pedal cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns (pedals come with cleats, shoes come without). There are three configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Mountain-bike shoes usually use the SPD pattern. Fit Relievers are tiny cuts in the tongue that reduce bulk and keep it from rolling over and digging into your foot.
